LIST OF
COUNTRIES THAT HAVE SIGNED A PROTOCOL FOR THE RECOGNITION OF CERTIFICATES
ISSUED TO SEAFARERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULE I/10 OF THE STCW CONVENTION
In accordance with rule I/10 of the
International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and
Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), in order to be able to work on
foreign-flagged ships, a protocol must be signed between the issuing country
and the flag state.
Within the scope
of these protocols, Turkish seafarers have the opportunity to work on ships
with 37 countries' flags mentioned below.
